On Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., our personal injury lawyers based in Houston at Attorney Brian White Personal Injury Lawyers helped turn VFW Post 9187 (6101 E. Mount Houston Rd., Houston, TX 77050) into a snowy “Winter Wonderland” for local families. The free, family-friendly event delivered toys, hot food, and hours of festive fun—complete with real snow, visits with Santa, and community raffles—just in time for the holidays.

This year’s celebration continued the firm’s tradition of giving back alongside longtime community partners. Held at the Jack F. Lee VFW Post 9187, the festival welcomed hundreds of kids for toy pickup and winter-themed activities at no cost to families. The location has become a reliable hub for holiday toy distributions serving Northeast Houston.

A Day of Free Fun—Snow, Santa, Telemundo, and So Much More

A Day of Free Fun—Snow, Santa, and So Much More

From the moment the gates opened, kids raced to the snow play area, lined up for photos with Santa, and jumped on trackless train rides circling the grounds. Face painters and balloon-making elves kept lines moving, while a DJ set the soundtrack with holiday favorites. Families also stopped by activity stations—letters to Santa, a hot cocoa bar, and more—to make the day feel like a true winter carnival.

Of course, the centerpiece was the toy giveaway. Children received gifts on a first-come, first-served basis, a hallmark of the firm’s Winter Wonderland tradition and broader toy-drive efforts with local partners. Even Telemundo was part of this, covering the event to highlight the law firm’s community involvement in Houston.

This season, Attorney Brian White also supported the Eagle 106.9/107.5 “Claws for a Cause” initiative to help get even more toys into kids’ hands across the Houston area.

Beyond toys and treats, families took part in raffles for crowd-pleasers—from brand-new bikes to popular electronics—adding an extra jolt of excitement to the day. Prizes included items like a Nintendo Switch, a large-screen TV, and a PlayStation 5, as highlighted on the firm’s social media coverage of the event.

These giveaways, combined with the on-site “bicycle drawing,” made for some unforgettable surprise wins.

Why Community Events Like This Matter

Why Community Events Like This Matter

For many Houston families, the holidays stretch household budgets. Free, high-quality community events help fill the gap—providing toys, hot meals, and a safe place for kids to play.

Partnering with a veteran-led organization like VFW Post 9187 also keeps resources anchored in the neighborhood, so the impact is both immediate and local. The Post regularly opens its doors for community gatherings and charitable programs, making it a natural home for Winter Wonderland.

Just as importantly, Winter Wonderland turns assistance into celebration. Instead of a simple pickup, families enjoy an experience—snow, Santa photos, music, games—that kids will talk about well into the new year. That sense of joy is exactly what the holiday season should feel like.

A Tradition of Giving

A Tradition of Givin

Attorney Brian White Personal Injury Lawyers has long invested in hands-on outreach, from school-year initiatives to holiday toy drives. The firm’s VIP Community Events list is updated year-round so friends and clients can get involved—volunteering, donating, or just stopping by to say hello.

If you’d like to be notified about the next community project or want to lend a hand, you can join the list and be part of what’s next.

Thanks to volunteers, sponsors, and partners, this Winter Wonderland Toy Giveaway delivered exactly what it promised: a magical, cost-free day for Houston kids. The firm extends heartfelt thanks to VFW Post 9187 for hosting and to all the donors who made the toy haul possible.

If you missed this event, keep an eye on the firm’s channels for future community dates and drives throughout 2026.
