C. Michael “Mike” Davis was born in Rankin County Mississippi, but he grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. Upon graduating from high school in 1963 Mike enrolled in The University of Texas where he was a finance major in the business school. Mike graduated in 1967 with a BBA. Mike then literally walked across campus and entered The University of Texas Law School in the summer of 1967, graduating in 1970. In addition to being active in the Mock trial program Mike was honored to be a member of Phi Delta Phi which is an international legal honor society. Phi Delta Phi’s mission is to promote professionalism and ethics in law schools and the legal profession. Membership on Phi Delta Phi is as mark of honor and distinction. While in law school Mike was a teaching quizmaster for the infamous UT property law professor “Billy” Fritz.

After graduating from Texas law school Mike joined a prominent Galveston Texas trial firm becoming a partner in 1975. Mike then moved his practice from Galveston to Houston Texas and began representing injured persons is a variety of cases including car accidents, wrongful death cases, workplace injuries, truck accidents and premises liability litigation.

Mike is admitted to all Texas courts and is a member or the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Bar Association is currently serving on multiple HBA committees. He is also a life member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He is a member of the celebration of life guild, served as an usher for over 20 years, and a member of the Goodwill Bible study class at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. He has also been honored by the State Bar of Texas for over 50 years of practicing law.

When he is not fighting insurance companies for his clients, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, his three adult children and two grandsons.
