She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University, where she triple-majored in Philosophy, Political Science, and Psychology. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.
Her legal career began in Indiana, practicing personal injury defense and litigating workers’ compensation matters. After relocating to Texas, she founded and operated a successful business in the Katy area before returning to the practice of law.
