However, this service comes at a cost: [5,936 people were killed](https://www.nhtsa.gov/sites/nhtsa.gov/files/2024-07/report-to-congress-june-2024-side-underride-protection.pdf) in [trucking accidents](https://attorneybrianwhite.com/houston-tx/truck-accident-lawyer/) with large commercial trucks and semis in the same year. United Parcel Service (UPS) Based on the numbers, UPS is the most dangerous trucking company in the United States. Between June 2023 and June 2025, the company’s drivers were [involved in 2,452 accidents](https://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/query.asp?searchtype=ANY&query_type=queryCarrierSnapshot&query_param=USDOT&query_string=21800#Inspections), including 73 fatal wrecks and 828 that resulted in injuries. ### 2. J.B. Hunt Transport LLC J.B. Hunt semis were reported as being involved in [1,612 collisions](https://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/query.asp?searchtype=ANY&query_type=queryCarrierSnapshot&query_param=USDOT&query_string=80806#Inspections) over the past two years. Estes Express Approximately 9,000 drivers work for Estes Express.
