Rochelle Guiton is from Luling, Louisiana, a small town near New Orleans. Rochelle joins Brian White Personal Injury Lawyers with a background in criminal prosecution and civil justice. She now continues the fight for justice with the Litigation Team, as a personal injury attorney. Rochelle holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with a Double Minor in both English and Vocal Performance from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

After her undergraduate studies, she went to and graduated from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. During the course of her time in Law School, she was a member of the Moot Court Team, interned with the Louisiana Fifth and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and clerked for St. Charles Parish 29th Judicial District Court. After receiving her Juris Doctorate, she successfully became licensed to practice law in both Louisiana and Texas.

In 2010 she was hired as a trial attorney with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. Over the course of nine-plus years, she was promoted to Felony Chief Prosecutor and she tried several cases to verdict involving drugs, family violence, aggravated assaults, sexual assaults, and others. She secured a number of life sentences for serious, violent offenders. She is most proud of her work advocating for child victims, while co-located at the Children’s Advocacy Center, Children’s Safe Harbor. At the center, she was responsible for prosecuting the highest level of sexual assault offenses for child victims under the age of ten years old. She also served as the Chief Prosecutor of the Child Exploitation Division. This division is responsible for the prosecution of Online Solicitation of a Minor, Child Pornography, Sexual Performance, Child Exploitation, and Human Trafficking. As the Chief Prosecutor of this division, she was a part of the combined efforts of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Human Trafficking Rescue Alliance.

Upon leaving the district attorney’s office, Rochelle worked for another Houston law firm and managed the staff and a caseload of over 20,000 mass tort and mass tort bankruptcy cases. This included nationwide cases against large organizations like Boy Scouts of America, Purdue Pharma, Mallinckrodt, Endo, and Brazos Electic Power. She also assisted in securing a settlement of over 840 million dollars against the University of Southern California for survivors of sexual assault.

Rochelle is passionate about representing those who have been wrongly injured. She has made several presentations to schools and other organizations regarding topics of sexual assault and child abuse, served on panels for Mass Tort Made Perfect, and is also on the board for Redeemed Ministries, a non profit organization that provides restoration services to adult survivors of human trafficking.

In her free time, Rochelle enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and promoting the empowerment of women through her first published book, Fierce and Fearless.
